West Country Games is the somewhat hung over brainchild of Simon and Jamie, two local childhood friends. Both grown-ups, in body if not mind, they live in the lively and frighteningly modern metropolis of Bristol (remember they are but simple country boys at heart).
Through the week they yearn for nothing more than to get back to fields, livestock and wellies. It's their comfort zone and one into which they welcome visitors with open arms and a friendly “Ooh Aar!”
Where it all started...
Launched in 2010, the aim of West Country Games was to allow them to recharge their batteries while providing stags and hens with fun, laughter and competition in fresh air and relaxed surroundings. The rest of the team are friends (the occasional non-local has been recruited!) linked by the love of being outdoors and making people smile.
Where it's all going...
In 2013 we have relocated to Gatcombe Farm just on the outskirts of Bristol. We now have a bigger venue and adjoining we have ponies, ducks, geese, ostriches and alpacas! There are around 150 cows too. Better still the farm has a fresh produce shop and a restaurant serving up fabulous fresh dishes using supplies from the farm shop.

Now over 10 years old; and approaching our teenage years; West Country Games are enjoying continued growth and love keeping things fresh with new games, ideas and more fun!
With over 65,000 visitors since it's inception back in 2010, we're proud that we are one of the South West's best group activity and love providing great experiences for our visitors even more than ever!
